This painting represents the three stages of life, shown through three trees at different points in their journey. The deeply rooted old tree looks back across a patterned field representing the memories, experiences and accomplishments gathered over a lifetime.

Throughout the painting, the black lines remain connected, representing the connections that carry through every stage of life. Above it all, genuine 24K gold leaf represents the afterlife, bringing the journey beyond the landscape and into something greater.
